Fun is the name of a musical group I have listened to a lot especially while working on homework. I thought it would be fun to create an event poster for a band I would love to see. In this poster I used their lyrics to cover the background to add texture as well as intergrade part of the music into the poster.

This was a fun project for one of my graphic design classes. I created this logo with a photo to convey the problem with cords. Bop Buds is a branding for cordless ear phones.

This is a magazine cover that I created in my Typography and Layout class. I really enjoyed all of my design classes in college but my favorite design element to experiment with is typography and layouts. I like this magazine cover because it is so simple, black and white to me is simplicity at its finest. I also created this very simple cover because magazines are often covered with a lot of information and I think the empty space makes it feel more upscale.

I created this layout in a design class to showcase Marvelous Weddings in either a magazine or as a flyer. I did ot take the pictures nor did I create the Logo.

This is a logo and menu that I designed for another graphic design class. I love simplicity with elegance, and I strive for that design element in many of my designs.

My name is Ashley Roth, I am a recent graduate from Utah Valley University. I graduated December of 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Art and Visual Communications and also a minor in Art History. I am a graphic designer, I love to design anything and everything. I highly enjoy looking at and being inspired by designs created by people all around the world. Art is a wonderful thing, art is more than looks it is about communicating an idea to a variety of people, and letting artists express themselves.
